Our BaF2 offer high transmission from 0.2 - 11 μm, are available with a broadband AR coating on both surfaces. This coating greatly reduces the high surface reflectivity of the substrate, yielding an average transmission in excess of 95% over the entire AR coating range. Due to its transparency from 200 nm to 11 μm, Barium Fluoride is commonly chosen for applications that require transmission into the ultraviolet.
